Mission Statement
The Northampton County Drop-In Center fosters social growth by providing structured social rehabilitation programming, in a safe, culturally sensitive environment, to individuals in Northampton County who are coping with or recovering from mental illness.
Northampton County Drop-In Center
The Northampton County Drop-In Center is a unique social rehabilitation program. It is a place to come and relax and have some fun, meet new people and chat with friends, while having a snack and taking part in the various activities of the Drop-In Center. Each month we invite guest speakers who provide education on various topics of interest. Together, we publish a bi-monthly newsletter that contains our monthly activity calendars. We support one another and share life experiences in recovery.
We have a van run daily for those who are unable to get to and from the Northampton County Drop-In Center on their own. If you require transportation, please call before 3 PM on the day transportation is needed for pick up. Come join us and have some fun. Some of the outings we offer are: bowling, miniature golf, going out to eat at different restaurants, and shopping at different thrift stores in the neighboring community. Some other activities are holiday parties, dances, and trips to the park for nature walks.
Future activities in the works include: amusement park trip, camping trips, as well as others to be announced.
All are welcome to share ideas, goals, and/or objectives that might be of interest to the friends attending the Drop-In Center.
